Thanks to the work of Happy Days Cambodian Village School Inc and our wonderful supporters both in Australia and Cambodia, a new toilet block and water pump has been built for Srey Vibol Ke school. The school located outside of Siem Reap  holds over 200 students and 8 teaching staff and had been sharing two squat toilets between both students and teachers.
One of the toilet foors could not open and was falling apart. The roof was also broken which meant that the toilets would flood during the wet season. There was also little privacy for the teaching staff and older female students

Working closely with our "Happy Days" friends in Cambodia, we were able to rebuild the toilet block, fix the broken door and roof and add a third toilet to be used by the teachers. All toilets now have a lock for privacy and a new coat of paint. The School principle Mr Kong and Dalign Seng worked together to remove the old hand pump which had not been working for two years and replaced it with a new hand pump that is connected to the water well.

Thank you to everyone that supported "Happy Days Cambodian Village School" Inc on this project.
The joy expressed by the teachers and students at the school is just another reminder of how lucky we all are by being able to help, even in the smallest of ways!
